WELCOME
Welcome to Samaak™ Institute for Inclusion and Cultural Access!
Samaak™ Institute for Inclusion and Cultural Access brings Applied Literature and Accessibility & Inclusion together as two expressions of one shared practice: empowerment through access.
At Samaak™, literature, cinema, theatre, psychology, translation, and cultural analysis are not treated as separate from accessibility. They are among the most meaningful forms of cultural access: ways of making stories, languages, traditions, and interpretive worlds more open, inclusive, and participatory. Through Applied Literature, Samaak™ works to make literary and cultural heritage, including Persian language, literature, and thought, accessible to wider communities, including people across languages, cultures, abilities, generations, and lived experiences.
This work is not only about explaining texts. It is about helping people enter cultural spaces with dignity, reclaim voice and interpretation, strengthen resilience, and connect literature and art to real questions of life, ethics, belonging, and social participation.
Alongside this cultural work, Samaak™ provides Accessibility and Inclusion Consultation Services, supporting individuals, organizations, institutions, and communities in identifying and removing barriers that limit dignity, participation, communication, and belonging. This work translates values, laws, accessibility standards, and lived experience into practical systems where difference is anticipated, respected, and welcomed.
Bridging these two wings is translation, not only translation between Farsi and English, but translation between culture and action, theory and practice, personal experience and institutional readiness.
Samaak™ moves between literary imagination and practical accessibility, between cultural knowledge and inclusive systems, between personal meaning and public responsibility.
This is the path of Samaak™: making culture more accessible, making access more culturally aware, and making ideas actionable, so individuals, communities, and organizations can participate with dignity.

Bienvenue à Samaak™ Institute for Inclusion and Cultural Access

About
Samaak Institute for Inclusion and Cultural Access
We are here to create, learn, and participate in more accessible ways.
Samaak Institute for Inclusion and Cultural Access is a cultural, educational, and interdisciplinary initiative rooted in Applied Literature, accessibility, and inclusion. We bring together Persian literary heritage, storytelling, psychology, disability inclusion, cultural access, and public education to help individuals and communities participate more fully.
For Samaak, literature and accessibility are not separate fields. They are two expressions of one practice: removing barriers to meaning, knowledge, participation, and belonging. Literature helps people access reflection, voice, resilience, and cultural memory. Accessibility and inclusion help people access systems, communication, learning spaces, and public life.
Our work includes educational programs, podcasts, workshops, bilingual and multilingual content, interdisciplinary research, accessibility-informed communication, and inclusion-focused cultural projects. We use stories, poems, cinema, and cultural texts as practical tools for dialogue, psychological flexibility, community connection, and personal growth.
Samaak supports individuals, organizations, and cultural communities in moving beyond passive appreciation toward active participation. We care about who has access to knowledge, whose voices are heard, what formats are available, and how people can belong with dignity.
Our unique approach bridges cultural expertise with accessibility and inclusion practice. We translate complex ideas across languages, disciplines, and lived experiences, making literature more usable, cultural spaces more welcoming, and inclusion more practical.
At Samaak, accessibility is not an afterthought, and inclusion is not a slogan. They are part of how we create, teach, communicate, and build community.
Our vision is a world where literature, culture, education, and institutions are designed with human difference in mind, so more people can participate, interpret, create, and belong.
